Mueller Hot / Cold Bead – Cooling / warming bag with gel beads – blue

The Mueller Hot/Cold Bead is a unique cooling/warming bag that, thanks to its gel beads, adapts perfectly to the body part being treated. The pouch can be chilled in the freezer while it is still flexible from freezing thanks to the gel beads, or it can be heated in the microwave. When the pads are frozen, once applied to a given segment, they cool the area and thereby reduce blood flow, reduce inflammation, reduce swelling and reduce pain. This use is advisable in the acute phase of injury during the first 24 hours. Using a heating pad is advisable after the swelling disappears. The heat then relaxes the area and speeds up healing.
